Everyone knows the most important news story of the year was the bed intruder/Antoine Dodson story. You may think it was the BP oil catastrophe or the Haiti earthquake, but really it was Antoine. Jerry Falwell's Liberty University (say wha?) made a Christmas carol out of "Bed Intruder" and it truly is magical. It's like Burl Ives and Antoine Dodson had a song baby.
My favorite, Stefon, was back on Weekend Update with his ideas for Christmas in New York. Let's watch.

Tolerance.
I've watched this 42 times. I may need a 12 days of Christmas step program.
If there is one thing I cannot stand it is racism. And if there are two things I cannot stand, it's corporate America being The Man and racism. And if there are three things I cannot stand, it's it's corporate America being The Man, racism, and using something as delicious as cupcakes to impart racism on the children of America.
Here is the commercial Duncan Hines does not want you to see, dubbed "Hip Hop Cupcakes."
Oh sure, they look harmless and delectable, but there are echoes of Al Jolson in blackface in cupcake form. And that wasn't hip hop. Sheesh.
Think I'm not serious? Then why did Duncan Hines pull the commercial after the media reported on the ad? We're onto you, Duncan Hines. And learn what hip hop is for crying out loud.
On this last night of Hanukkah, I give you Jewish rapper, Matishyahu.
It doesn't take much to make me excited about something. In this case it's lipstain. Cover Girl Outlast lipstain. I love this stuff. I was at the Walgreens today and to my surprise there are new colors in the lipstain. Yay!
This is the extent of my modeling career.
The new color is a great brick color that I love for fall and winter. Very close to my Cinnamon Toast lipstick by L'Oreal. I'm only wearing foundation, powder, mascara, and the lipstain in this picture. Oh, and Anastasia eyebrow tint. No blush. I am the whitest white woman in America 36 years running.
I don't like the shirt I'm wearing. Now I'm going to go change into my Ina Garten shirt.
That's the mantle decked out for Christmas. I'll take a close-up when it's lit.
I'm guessing my invitation got lost in the mail because the Kennedy Center Honors was last night and I was at home watching Dexter. Y'all. I've been watching the Kennedy Center Honors since I was a teenager; I love the show, the whole premise, everything about it.
If ever there was a year for me to be there, this was it. This year the honorees were Paul McCartney, Oprah, and Merle Haggard. My boyfriend Alec Baldwin introduced the tribute to McCartney. Alec Baldwin and Paul McCartney in one room, people!
Oprah is so happy to hold Paul McCartney's hand, she's absolutely giddy. I don't have to tell you that should be me.
She wanted to hold his hand. Hee hee hee.
I'd even look good in that dress, but the rainbow medal does nothing for that outfit.
Paul's looking at her like "bitch is crazy."
If I were there he'd say that about me too.
