Again, lots of thoughts and emotions. Things I’ll write after some processing, but I thought I’d let y’all listen to what I’m listening to.
Here’s Iron & Wine’s “Passing Afternoon.” It’s good stuff.
“There are things we can’t recall, Blind as night that finds us all
Winter tucks her children in, her fragile china dolls
But my hands remember hers, rolling around the shaded ferns
Naked arms, her secrets still like songs I’d never learned”
Here’s one of this blog’s favorites with a song I discovered from Grey’s Anatomy this season. “Who I am” IS who I am right now.
I wish they were here, not there. But sometimes maybe there, too.

I will be writing something, but until then — I stole this from Post Secret’s Instagram.

If you need to talk about it, it’s ok.
It’s a weird day. I’m emotional, but detached, but feel I should be more emotional than I am.
So, here’s our wise Dr. Meredith Grey.

It’s only right that I end the 80s covers from season 10 of Grey’s Anatomy with my favorite — “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” This cover version is by Jill Andrews and it’s fantastic.
Enjoy.
As with Grey’s Anatomy’s Dr. Meredith Grey, I’ll also randomly post quotes from Dr. Miranda Bailey.

Grey’s Anatomy goes back to Sleeping at Last for the classic “99 Red Balloons.” The English version. Thank goodness.
A great cover of a cover of a fantastic original by Gloria Jones. Claire Guerreso made a superfantastic version of “Tainted Love” that appeared on Grey’s Anatomy.
Enjoy.
