157/365: Passing Afternoon

Again, lots of thoughts and emotions. Things I’ll write after some processing, but I thought I’d let y’all listen to what I’m listening to.

Here’s Iron & Wine’s “Passing Afternoon.” It’s good stuff.

“There are things we can’t recall, Blind as night that finds us all

Winter tucks her children in, her fragile china dolls

But my hands remember hers, rolling around the shaded ferns

Naked arms, her secrets still like songs I’d never learned”
