If your brain doesn’t make its own Serotonin, store bought is fine.

2.83/365: my name is

2.82/365: my time-outs
That’s me in the corner.

2.81/365: my brain

2.80/365: cold dead heart
There’s an artist I follow on Instagram called Plastic Jesus. He’s been working on a few pieces that are cast balloon hearts.
This one knows me.

Indeed.
2.79/365: space pen
Several years ago I was given a Fisher Space Pen as a gift from the fascility where we held the scrapbooking event I co-owned. I was super excited because I’ve always loved all things NASA and (duh) the Seinfeld reference. The pen is tiny and once opened is almost a regular good size. I liked it because the thing is smooth. Y’all hear — it’s smooth. The trouble is, I’ve left it in a purse or somewhere.
So, I set out to buy one, one with a click top and a regular barrel.
Trouble is, it’s for men.

2.78/365: Beto crop circle
I’m on Facebook a lot. I regularly post “the most Texas thing…” I’ve seen lately. Well, this tops most. Even the longhorn steer someone brought to Petco.
Because nothing says “I support Beto for President” than a crop circle, I give you this:

Meet Stan Herd, “earth artist.”

In case you’re wondering, he used pecans for Beto’s eyes.
2.77/365: for my friend Dana
My friend Dana is great. It’s impossible not to like her and she is superfantastic; for this reason, she is one of my best friends and favorite people. Which brings me to this post.
It’s Dana’s birthday next week and the thing is, she doesn’t need anything and she already has a $7000 lawn mower, so what could I possibly get her?
This:

They say great things come in small packages.
From Amazon:
Medium Pocket Knife with Universal Wrench
Medium Pocket Knife with Universal Wrench
Being the biggest collector’s item, this knife has it all, and then some. Its credentials are large-scale and propel it into a class of its own. Composed of 118 parts, housing 82 functions, weighing in at 350 grams and at 65 mm wide, its versatility knows no limits. And the craftsmanship is top too: every Swiss Champ XAVT is manufactured in more than 500 meticulous steps and adeptly assembled by hand.
What can it do, you ask? Just look.

Why this particular item? Because Dana deserves 82 functions in one. What are those functions, you ask? Well, you just had to ask, didn’t you?

No, I don’t know what most of those are, BUT it has a corkscrew and bottle opener. And a “pharmaceutical spatula,” which I’m pretty sure is a nose candy spoon. You know what I’m talking about. Blow. Eight Ball. White Dragon. Mama Coca. Charlie. Snow White. Sherlock. Booger Sugar. Devil’s Dandruff. Now, I’m not saying Dana’s a coke addict, but she just sent me this photo and maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe not.

Plus, the Swiss Army Knife looks like a Transformer.

Happy birthday next week, Sounds of the Seventies.
2.76/365: happy St. Patrick’s Day
I usually post something about my heritage today, but I thought I’d do something different. Although, my husband and I did DNA kits for Christmas and I’m 85% Irish, Scottish, English, and Welsh.
But here’s something fun I found. Ridiculous vintage St. Patrick’s Day advertisements for booze, cigarettes, and my favorite — motor oil!

2.75/365: St. Patrick’s Day Eve
Working on a post for y’all.
