Today I was introduced to an old band via Tim Nordwind of OK Go called Yum-Yum. The song “Dan Loves Patti” is very Big Star meets The Beach Boys and you should give it a listen or a few listens. The cover is also superfantastic with the guitar back with girls’ names scratched through. Perfect. The good news is Omnivore Records is rereleasing the album. Yay for new old music!
