a peek into the office

So, I promised y'all pics of my scrap office over a year ago and I never got around to taking pictures. Bad me. Last week I was up there a bunch and guess what — I took pics. It's still unfinished. I haven't yet hung my K's on the wall above my desk and I'm not sure where to put my big "Keep calm and carry on" print, but oh well.

Here's my desk.

Amazingly clean, right? I know. And completely unlike me. Here we have the iMac, a large K, photo of my great-grandmother and me, Joan the doll, two mice, Vera Bradley mousepad, photo of college friends and me, and my big spinny pen/scissors/stuff holder. Love the spinny thing.

The shelf of doom. This is more like the disorder we know and love. Top shelf:organizational thingie that is too high to reach, CREATE. Row 2: photo scanner, bin of randomness, iPod speakers, not-yet-put-together corner shelf with a scrapbook kit stacked on top. Row 3: drawer thingie, modge podge, a banner I made, CD bins, shelf holding completed layouts not in albums. Row 4: photo printer (behind that: 2 sets of iPod speakers), giant box of scrapbook paper, green box of photos, typewriter, ribbon case. On the bottom shelf, which you can't see is a lot of wrapping paper.

Completely not in focus wall behind my desk. Three of my favorite layouts and the handle of one of my scrapbook bags. Yes, I have hot pink curtains.

Photo5
Also not in focus. My canaries. The only good birds are on wall decals. They're cute and they don't make noise.

And because I'm brutally honest with you people, here is the horribleness.

Photo4
My craft table, a rolling scrapbook bag, two drawer thingies, more wrapping paper (yes, I have paper that says "naughty"), a couple of bags of scrapbook junk, scrapbook junk on the table, Jimmy Hoffa, and my white sofa behind all that. This corner has been like this for months and I will eventually do something about it.

So, that's the scrap office. I will be spending a lot of time in there since ScrapFest! is around the corner. If you don't hear from me for a while, send spelunkers to find me.
