Amen, Keeley. I’m going back to bed in a few minutes. I can’t function at 6:30 am. You can be productive without rest.

The robot that wants me to prove I’m not a robot doesn’t know what motorcycles are.

Meanwhile, I can’t log into the Washington Post to buy a t-shirt.
I don’t usually laugh at people, at their silly injuries and whatnot, but this hit differently. It’s the laugh that keeps on giving.
My favorite piano guy, Ben Folds wrote a new song about friends that send us Qanon messages. Yes, he did. Here he is, performing it with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.
It’s Treat Yo’self Day! Donna and Tom celebrated Treat Yo’self Day on October 13th, as explained here:
“Treat. Yo. Self. Once a year, Donna and I spend a day treating ourselves. What do we treat ourselves to? Clothes. Treat yourself. Fragrances. Massages. Treat yourself. Mimosas. Fine leather goods…It’s the best day of the year.”
Treat yo’self!
I missed World Mental Health Day by one day. Ugh. If you’re a longtime reader, you know that I post a lot about mental health. If you’re new to my blog, know that I am committed to educating people on how to take care of their mental health with a fun take. I love you guys.
I really like this from Hayley Kaye. Taking care of yourself requires more than therapy or meds. Get a good person to talk to about stuff — just stuff. Find a great Spotify playlist or podcast. I really liked The Hilarious World of Depression and Depresh Mode. Both are great, have experts, artists, actors, and musicians all talking about mental health in a way you’ve not heard before. And get you some tiramisu Torani syrup for your coffee. Coffee is great.

It’s not a bad thing. Necessarily.
This reminds me of Natalie Merchants’ “Break Your Heart” and the lyrics, “I know that it will hurt/I know that it will break your heart/The way things are/The way they’ve been/And the way they’ve always been.”
Cleo Wade is wonderful.
