Just to mention I live in Texas
5.339/365: capturing December challenge — joyous
I made this typography several years ago. It’s on a canvas with silver-gilded edges that hangs above my mantel during Christmastime. I put the word “joy” in it a lot because that’s what Christmas is about, right?

5.338/365: capturing December challenge — red
Nothing fancy today. Just my shoes as they sit on my living room floor, on top of charger cords.

5.337/365: capturing December challenge — favorite holiday movie
Without a doubt, it’s The Bishop’s Wife. It’s just the best. I watch it every Christmas Eve because it’s a Christmas Eve film. And I usually post the last lines of the movie here. I’m sure I’ll do it again.

5.334/365: Capturing December challenge
Professor Doctor Hillary and I are doing a photo challenge for December because we enjoyed the November challenge so much. I’ll be doing some other posts as well, but I’m excited about it. Here’s a preview.

5.333/365: weird nativity sets — 2022 edition
It’s back. Several years ago I wrote a post about weird nativity sets and last month, the universe borough me new fodder for a second edition. These were all either advertised to me on Facebook. I didn’t go out looking for them, they just popped up over the last month because Zuckerberg wants me to get a Peanuts nativity set.
Let’s start with the Peanuts.

5.332/365: November song challenge — day 30
A song about dreaming a dream.
There can only be one. Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream it’s Over.” Hey now, hey now.
I enjoyed this challenge immensely. I hope you did too.
5.331/365: November song challenge — day 29
A song by an artist for their (long beautiful) hair.
I have to go with my heart on this one. The penultimate day of this challenge. Perhaps it was meant to be.
I give you three (because one is never enough) songs from my favorite INXS album, Listen Like Thieves. Is Kick amazing? Of course, it is. Do you know half that album like the back of your hand? Or at least three songs. You know which ones. Let’s go for some deep cuts.
And probably my favorite, “Dont Change.”
5.330/365: November song challenge — day 28
A song about being touch-a-touch-a-touched. Hillary picked a horrible song for today. Mine is infinitely better and she knows it.
