My tree this year. I love my muted greens, pinks, blues, silver and gold ribbon, with pops of red and other colors that are family ornaments. Keep in mind, this after two pets have running around it. Bonus tree on my tv console.

My favorite has always been “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” the original Judy Garland version. Enjoy.
I live this photo of our first Christmas in Houston. We went to the zoo, where they do Zoo Lights, but we went the day before they lighting. Dumb me. But look how cute my munchkins were.

My daughter’s view from her dorm in Calgary.

I made several “trees” for our mantel that are a better match with our Christmas tree. This is one of the green ones, made with organza ribbon.

I’m big on wrapping paper. I put a lot of thought into my theme each year and this year I’m doing plaid and toile with white ribbon and probably tuile. The wrapping is part of the gift. I love a beautifully wrapped gift. I try to box everything and I use real hang tags, me er a stick on tag or now.
This is what I’m using this year. It’s arriving tomorrow.

I’m between books right now. Actually, I ordered this book in September and it never came, so I got a refund and ordered it from another used bookstore.
As y’all know, I love music. I love listening to music, watching documentaries, and listening to podcasts on artists and music production, and reading about it all. I’ve heard good things about this book and this year, it will be in my Christmas stocking.

I love hearts. I’ve accumulated a lot of heart jewelry, hearts on tops, leggings. I’ve had a few hear ornaments over the years and this is my favorite. A felt heart with felt and plastic buttons.

From last Christmas. My Noel sign and husband with his favorite gift I’ve ever given him, the Dukes of Hazzard box set.

I’ve bought exactly two gifts so far and I’m sticking with my patented one-for-whoever-one-for-me system. I ordered my middle child a personalized photo pillow of her cat and last night I bought these for myself.
