Instead of posting a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr. today, I thoutvI would post a great video I came across that goes along with things Dr. King spoke about on a regular basis. The video is of Deil DeGrasse Tyson talking about why he doesn’t talk about race. I had not thought about his point, because as a white person, I’m so used to seeing “experts” being “experts” based on what they look like.
6.15/365: everything happens

6.14/365: obsurest vinyl
Don’t go search for this account on IG. It’s super tacky, but I found some gems of fame obscure album covers for your entertainment.

6.13/365: it’s never too late
Perfect as a January reminder or for any season or day. F. Scott Fitzgerald had the best words.

6.12/365: spare
Y’all, book club is in session.

6.11/365: golden globe fashion wrap up
The Golden Globes aired last night — on a freaking Tuesday — and it was the first decent night of award season we’ve had since we only had the Oscars last year. The Globes didn’t air last year because The Hollywood Foreign Press, which hosts the Globes, was accused of racism and boycotted. Look that up, it’s a whole blog post I’m not going to write because I’m here for dresses.
First, the good.

The “Just missed it”

The confusing and bad.

The worst.

Best couple.

6.10/365: liberal outlaws
Back in the 70s and early 80s there was a group of country and western musicians that were branded “The Outlaws” because they didn’t where you the slick Nashville sound. You know them: Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waykon Jennings, Kris Kristopherson.
I came across this clip from an old interview and damn, if they don’t sound like a bunch of liberals.
6.9/365: truth
Off to post of Facebook Marketplace!

6.8/365: Netflix and annoy
Why can’t Netflix ask us something constructive?

6.7/365: pep talk generator
In case you need a pep talk or need to give one.
Dang…what you got going on is a rainbow factory 24/7.
