"Searching My Soul" from Ally McBeal. If you weren't an Ally McBeal fan, you probably don't know that Vonda Shepard's songs are a theme through the series. In every episode, the gang would end up at the bar where Vonda played piano. It was great. "Searching My Soul" was the theme song and really sums up Ally.

Y'all should know that one of my favorite sites is Yo, Should I Dump This Asshole, where people write in and ask if they should dump their significant others. This one from yesterday may be the site's pinnacle moment.

 

Home Improvement. I hated that show. And Coach. And Wings.

Animaniacs. That show is wicked funny. I bought the dvds for my children. I originally watched the show while in college and I may have learned more from it than in some of my classes.

 

Seinfeld. Because this: 

 

Elaine was inappropriate and awesome. And hilarious.

Clearly MTV because they still had 120 Minutes. 

No contest. Britney. Kids, let's talk about a little show called Star Search. Star Search was an amazing show hosted by Ed McMahon and was the forerunner of American Idol. Britney was on this show in 1992. It started her ginormous career. Let's have a look.

 

Yeah, you can tell from that giant bow that she was going to be a huge star. Did you see the little girl who didn't shake her hand? She was never heard from again.
