This is from last night’s town hall with the President and ”undecided” voters.
3.288/366: feelings (texts from your therapist pt. 64
I wish I would have seen this when I was 16.
Feelings are feedback, not something to be ”fixed.” This should be common sense and something people should get, but it’s hard for people to see. Don’t ignore your feelings!

3.287/366: vote
I voted early for the first time today. My husband always does, but I’ve always preferred to vote on Election Day — it just feels right. Still got a sticker, so it has to count.

3.286/366: the best day of the year
3.285/366: my thoughts exactly

3.284/366: on Jeff Goldblum
We have an appreciation for Jeff Goldblum here on the Kerry Blog. He’s even great live with his jazz combo. But we love Jeff as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park best. There is one particular scene everyone knows. Well, Mr. Goldblum recreated the image for 2020, and boy, it is something.

3.283/366: World Mental Health Day
Today is World Mental Health Day. A lot of you are feeling with emotions you’ve never felt during this pandemic and literally everything associated with it. Many of us who already have depression or anxiety are feeling extra everything. If you need to reach out, do it. If you think you need to talk to a professional, do it. If you need to take something to help you get through it, do it. Mental health is the same as any other health issue. You wouldn’t walk around every day with an open wound and not get it looked at, so why let your mental health go unaddressed? If you see that a friend, family member, or coworker is having a rougher than usual time, start a conversation. You might be the push they need to ask for help.

3.282/366: do not be cynical
I keep hearing about people who think they vote won’t matter and that people who don’t want to vote should be respected. Voting is your civic duty.
What does civic duty mean? From legaldictionary.com: Citizenship connects Americans in a nation bound by shared values of liberty, equality, and freedom. Being a citizen comes with both rights and responsibilities. Civic duty embodies these responsibilities. Such civic duties help uphold the democratic values of the United States.
If you are a citizen of the United States, it is your responsibility to vote because that’s how our representation as individuals is governed. If you don’t vote, you’re not represented. I won’t get on my soap box about how women fought for the vote for decades and finally received 100 years ago or how African Americans had to fight for their vote, I’ve written exhaustively about that. I will be posting graphics about voting because I feel that strongly about it.

Believe in your power to vote. Encourage one other person to vote. It does make a difference in our democracy.
3.281/366: the least important most important thing there is
One of my favorite Mad Men scenes.

3.280/366: veep debate
I’m getting ready to watch the VEEP debate.
