The new seasons of Unsolved Mysteries are not narrated. No familiar Robert Stack. R.I.P.

I miss the narration. I think the show misses something by not being walked through the story. We get all of our information from family members, witnesses, police officers, detectives, former FBI, etc. We see evidence, but there’s still something missing.
Don’t worry, Netflix, I will assume the duties of narrator if you see things the way I do. As part of my submission, I will give a sampling of narration I’ve said out loud while watching the show.
Longtime readers may remember that I’ve been a Natalie Merchant super fan. Her voice is the most unique I’ve heard in my generation. It’s truly an instrument that she uses like violin and sometimes a clarinet and sometimes a cello. I thought I had heard all of Natalie’s songs, but during a Grey’s Anatomy rewatch, I heard her unmistakable voice in the background and so began my search. Season 6, episode 18. By the way, I stand by my previous statements that Shonda Rhimes’ shows are a fantastic way to find new or new-to-you bands.
I give you ”Heaven” by Brett Dennen and Natalie Merchant https://youtu.be/IKbLR3MEjAg
I can’t say enough good things about @AnikDesignStudio. Go follow her on Instagram. She’s uplifting and good for a woman’s soul.

I loved this so much I had to share. Love is complicated and messy and this is a perfect piece to show that.

My Childhood Magical Thinking is scary accurate. I believe a lot of people are this way and have no idea they do.
