If you know me, you know I love me some Shakespeare. I also love politics. Today, via The New York Times, I found out about the book, Shakespeare in a Divided America by Janes Shapiro. Shapiro previously write Contested Will: Who Wrote Shakespeare? Which was a phenomenal take on if William Shakespeare was the actual author or if the author was someone else. I’m pretty convinced it was Edward de Vere, Earl of Oxford.

But back to the new book — It examines the plays and the state of America in similarity and in contrast. I’m pumped! If you’re a literature and politics but, let me know what you think.
