So many atrocities. Naming your child Aydynn should signal CPS automatically. Seeing the name made me know it would be an anti-vaxxer. The mom doesn’t “encourage Aydynn to associate” — that’s exactly how I described my kids’ interactions with little kids years ago, you know, like a business meeting. “Needle babies.” yeah, that’s not a thing anyone says.

And Jesus wasn’t vaccinated because the vaccine wasn’t created until 1796. That might be why.

Over the past year I’ve posted some things about politics, but this made me so angry I couldn’t write yesterday.

Yesterday Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed into law a bill that band virtually all abortions from six weeks forward. Most women find out they are pregnant at or around that time. Let me make this clear: this the “heartbeat bill,” because the earliest a heartbeat can be seen of a fetus by virginal ultrasound or Doppler is six weeks.

This is nothing less than a hate crime on women across the board. None of my doctors ever attempted to check before seven weeks.

I’ve have three children and had four miscarriages. Miscarriages that happened shortly after my seventh week each time. Hearing a heartbeat isn’t a magic baby insurance policy. Six weeks gives women zero options. Our Governor and legislature are using women’s bodies as a SCOTUS stunt and it will cost lives.

Maybe I’m jaded, but I know I’m coming from a different perspective than other people because losing pregnancies early made me not get my hopes up until my second semester in week 12. At six weeks, you have an embryo, not a fetus until week eight, and the heart is not fully formed until the 10th week. You can read the info here.

I found this quote by Carliss Chatman that adequately sums up how I feel on the inside about this new law. I’m not heartless, I’m a realist. And I don’t think this has anything to do with Christian beliefs either because Republicans clearly are not pro-life when they support such things as bringing back firing squads for executions, as South Carolina did last weekend.

This is about politics. That’s all anyone cards about anymore.

This is the greater Houston area. The green area is Dan Crenshaw’s district. I live in big mostly white suburb in the absurdly mostly white big green section on the right in the map.

The greater Houston area has one of the most ethnically diverse populations in the United States. It’s true. I wonder why Dan and the GOP would only want the white-ist areas. It’s almost as if they were afraid of something.
