More layouts on the way

I have plenty more layouts to put on the blog, they’re coming as soon as I can get to them.  Meanwhile, back at the ranch, my wonderful crazy kiddoes are nuts.  Katie and Andrew are two peas in a pod.  They’re both insisting on wearing the bucket hats we made at VBS.  Andrew looks like Gilligan.

Last night Molly mixed peanut butter & jelly in a glass and ate it.  I always knew she was two slices of bread shy of a pb&j sandwich.

iPod frustration

Ok, when my laptop crashed all I could think about was losing the pictures that were on it and the ScrapFest! files I’ve created — totally forgot about my iPod library.  Of course, I have what’s on my iPod, but I can’t get them on my new laptop.  That’s just crazy talk.  What happens when I eventually get a new iPod?  Can you transfer songs to the new one or what?  I gotta download some new music.  I want the new Coldplay.  I also have to find out if the new Counting Crows cd was scratched when I put it in the car cd player, not knowing Andrew had stuffed probably 83 cents in it.  I’m sure he thought it was a jukebox.

In other news, scrapbooking with Megan, Mandy, & Lori was great Saturday.  We went to Casa Garcia for dinner & that was the best.  I got 2 pages done.  That’s not much for me.  I usually do more than that.  I used a lot of diamond glaze & that takes forever to dry, so that slowed me down.

We’re off to Target.  I’m sure the kids are going to make me crazy, but that’s life with 3 munchkins.  Katie insists on wearing her hat she made at VBS & Andrew is actually wearing his shoes on the right feet.  What more could I ask for?

The lost tooth club

Molly has now lost 4 teeth.  Her first wiggly tooth seemed like it would never come out and when it did you would have thought the girl discovered a diamond mine.

By the way, this whole tooth fairy thing is stressful.  The tooth fairy went to Molly’s room the night the first tooth fell out, searched under her pillow where I helped Molly hide it, but the tooth fairy found no tooth.  The next morning, Molly comes downstairs to tell me the tooth fairy left her 50 cents even though the tooth fell behind her bed, then she handed me the tooth and asked me to put it in her scrapbook.  The kid cracks me up.

about me

meHi, I’m Kerry. That’s me in the picture in my 3 year-old Easter finest.  I was rockin’ the barrettes & white gloves, I know.   I wish my hair was still that red.  If you look hard enough you’ll find more recent pics of me on this blog.  I pretty much look the same, but taller.  And wider.  And I don’t wear gloves.  Ok, I wear my Williams-Sonoma pink dish gloves, put that’s it.

I’m a wife, mom of 3, scrapbook chick in south Louisiana.  I’m a mom, but this isn’t a regular mommy blog.  My kids aren’t perfect and neither am I.  I don’t sleep, drink too much coffee, worry too much about stupid crap, and am addicted to Words With Friends. I co-own a scrapbook retreat company; I’m an amateur graphic designer and web designer; and between the years of 1997-2000 I was fired from more jobs than you’ve held in your life. If you want to know anything else about me, just ask.

You can check out my layouts and read my musings on things that I love, like, & things that aggravate the snot out of me on this blog.   Things tend to aggravate me.   I’ll try to update frequently, or at least when the urge to write strikes.  Be good.
