I'm sure you all remember that Woody Allen married his adopted daughter Soon-Yi. Ronan Farrow is Mia and Woody's biological son. Ronan, the sarcasm gods smile down upon you.

all about the 80s challenge – Day 18 – Least favorite movie?
That would be a three way tie between Labrynth, Legend, and the Neverending Story. I absolutely cannot stand fantasy movies with Muppets and real people (and Tom Cruise) from the 80s. It was a sort of trend. All three of those movies came out within a couple of years of each other and they were freaky and weird. Also, I do not like movies with weird monsters. I can handle your traditional monsters, but not giant Muppets. That's when I tune out.
all about the 80s challenge – Day 17 – Favorite movie?
Y'all, I almost forgot about this post. I need to stop slackin'.
Pretty in Pink. Molly Rinwald, Andrew McCarthy, James Spader, Annie Pots, and Jon Cryer. Wonderful soundtack. The Rave Ups are in the bar scenes.
Just watch this scene. The computer scene in the library.
She stands up, he stands up. I swoon.
all about the 80s challenge – Day 16 – Facts of Life or Silver Spoons?
This is almost difficult because Jason Bateman was on Silver Spoons for a year or so. I was never a big Ricky Shroeder fan (he's blond), so Silver Spoons was all about Jason Bateman for me. It was a show I watched all the time, then stopped before it ended. Do y'all remember the Mr. T episode?
Facts of Life is a different story. I cried when FofL when off the air. You cannot go wrong with a show that starts with a very young Molly Ringwald and ends with George Clooney. And Mackenzie Astin. I had Mackenzie Astin's picture from BOP magazine on my wall for a couple of years. So much cuteness. But what kept me watching the show were the stories on FofL. It was relatable. You knew a Blair, a Jo, and Tootie, and a Natalie. You were blown away when Natalie lost her virginity. You loved Mrs. Garrett. You knew the show was going to teach someone a lesson by the end of the episode and you liked it. Facts of Life was my favorite.
side note: Lisa Whelchel (Blair) spoke at my church for a women's function a few years ago. I volunteered and worked the book table with a couple of my friends and Lisa's husband. He was nice and gave me 3 free books. Also, Lisa is a scrapbooker. I kept referring to her as Blair.

all about the 80s challenge – Day 15 – Family Ties or Growing Pains?
Family Ties all day long. Growing Pains got on my nerves.
sure, it’s not haunted, Jake
all about the 80s challenge – Day 14 – Favorite television show theme song?
Oh, you know what my favorite 80s tv theme song is. The Dukes of Hazzard, baby. You Tube won't let me embed it, but you know the song.
Runners up:
Charles in Charge. I used to sing this in the shower for no reason. There, you know one more stupid thing about me. And that was just a couple of years ago.
And the Love Boat. I love to sing this song because it's so loungey. When I went on our honeymoon I was extremely disappointed this song wasn't playing when we stepped aboard. I'm serious.

all about the 80s challenge – Day 13 – Least favorite cartoon?
Let me set the scene for you. I am almost 4 years older than my sister. We never had the same tastes in anything, probably due to the age difference, mostly due to the fact that I just have better taste. She's the exact opposite of me in every way; we don't look alike (at all); she has a tattoo around her bellybutton; she borrowed my mom's car when she was 16 and blew out all of the tires. I didn't drive until I was 21.
So, it should not surprise you that we rarely watched television in the same room. I was all about an afterschool special, she wanted to watch Nickelodeon.
This list is comprised of my sister's favorite cartoons, thus the shows I hated. I mean, she was the only person on earth who liked Scrappy Doo, people. Here goes: Pound Puppies, Care Bears, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Inspector Gadget, Poochie – OMG – extra points if you remember that mess, Richie Rich, The Snorks, and I know it wasn't a cartoon, but – Fraggle Rock. Fraggle Rock creeped me out.
