This is what I do when I'm supposed to be working on stuff — I find websites that sell products that are fantastic. Today I found eEvil Ink Designs. I super wish I would have come up with that name first because I need a name for my design non-business. Anyevil, here are some products I need.

I love this journal, ahem, blank book.

I think I've found my go-to gift for the 0-1-1 (that's 2011 for you not in the know).

Oh, they have a fine selection of break-up cards too.

Fantastic. I wonder if they need writers. Hmm.

Christmas gift idea #6

I think we're up to #6. I'm not sure, I'm not fully caffeinated yet. Oh well.

Everyone has a Beatles fan in their life. And if you don't, well, there is me. Someone needs to get me this.

Christmas gift idea#6: Max Dalton Beatles print.

It's a limited edition, only 500 printed. Max Dalton is a pretty great illustrator. Check out his Guitar Lessons print on his site — it's fantastic, but unfortunately sold out.

Let's examine this:

I took a partial screencap of the Lane Bryant site this afternoon. Note this section of Pants & Jeans is called "leggings and jeggings."

Not only are they selling control top capri leggings, they're also offering knit skirts with ATTACHED leggings. One is a DENIM KNIT skirt with attached leggings (jeggings?).

Obviously this is another sign of the Apocalypse.

Sometimes I go looking for Christmas gift ideas for you, sometimes the ideas find me. This post happens to be an example of the latter.

Christmas gift idea#5: 80's Barbies

My 7 year-old has Barbies on her Christmas list. Barbies are a great gift idea for girls and 36 year-old women who have 7 year-olds.

While browsing the Amazon.com for Barbies I came across this doll.

This is Peaches and Cream Barbie. She debuted in 1984 and she was one of my favorites. I was a Barbie nut. I was 10.

When I saw this doll online tonight — FOR SALE — I was 10 again. I remember opening her box. She smelled of peaches. Her dress was chiffon and she had a stole!

This was glamor straight out of Dynasty.

Speaking of Dynasty.

Shut. Up. Remember last week when I posted about Joan Collins and wrote out loud that when I was a kid I made my Barbies reenact scenes from Dynasty?

Christmas gift idea #4

Frugal Beth reminded me about today's gift idea this morning. I must confess, this would be a perfect gift for your favorite redheaded blogger. You see, being a redhead, I am pigment challenged. I'm a whiter shade of pale and have blond eyebrows that might as well be invisible. "But Kerry, you've posted pictures of yourself on this very blog and you have eyebrows!" Ah, that would be the magic of makeup, darlings. Thanks to Anastasia's products from Sephora I have eyebrows. I've penciled them in, dyed them, or used some sort of makeup on them since I was 13 because without eyebrows people look weird. I'm not naming names (Whoopi Goldberg).

But no longer!

Christmas gift idea #4: Prada eyebrow sunglasses

Cat-eye glasses with eyebrows — genius. I will take the ones on the left, thank you. This will shave one minute and twenty seconds off my morning routine.

Christmas shopping idea #2

Wine is a popular gift during the holidays. I'm not sure why, because I've never liked wine (I prefer a margarita or a white Russian if you must know). I believe if you're going to give booze as a gift you should give this one.

Idea #2. Lil Jon Wine

It's called Little Jonathan and this ain't your mama's crunk juice. Lil Jon says, “I’m not like an expert, so don’t ask me no questions … I just like the taste. This is not no ghetto Boone’s Farm; this is some real wine.”

I've never worn cowboy boots, but I need these cowboy-style rain boots from Fleurty Girl.

I like both. I dig the leopard print, but the pink in the "French Quarter" design is fab. A cowboy rain boot = love. I can't take how cute they are. Must have.

the saturday style: mary janes

A few months ago I read that mary janes are nice if you want to be the cute girl, that there was nothing wrong with being the cute girl — but they weren't fashion or high glam.

Maybe they're not high glam, but they're sassy and I do love sassy.
