For those of y’all who aren’t from Louisiana or Texas, Pancho’s was an all you can eat Mexican buffet with tons of dishes and a tiny Mexican flag to raise at the table if you want drink refills or more enchiladas. You have to see the video.
Pancho’s was a mainstay of my childhood. Where else can you take your family for $7.99 a person for dinner PLUS sopaipillas?
There are only two locations left — one in my town in the Houston area and one — the one I grew up going to in Bossier City, LA. I can’t say if they measure up to what I remember, but if you go to either, let me know ow if the cheese enchiladas are still the bomb.
