6.37/365: February challenge day 6 — List 10 people, dead or alive, you could have dinner with. Include the menu.

Easy.

Aretha Franklin, Ernest Hemingway, Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Steve Jobs, Sam Cooke, Teddy Roosevelt, Queen Elizabeth I, Walt Disney, and Benjamin Franklin. And Mark Twain if any of the 10 couldn’t make it.

I’m picking a southern themed seven course meal for the dinner party because Aretha, Zelda, Sam, and I are originally from the American south. And I 100% believe the others would be all about fried chicken.

First course (hors d’oeuvre): pimento cheese canapés with caviar

Second (soup): duck and andouille gumbo

Third (appetizer): crab cakes

Fourth (salad): wedge

Fifth (main course): fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, green beans, greens, and corn bread

Sixth (dessert): peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream

Seventh (coffee/after dinner drink): coffee with kaluha
