5.328/365: November song challenge — Day 26

A song about turkey lurkey time (aka Thanksgiving). Like Hilly said, why wasn’t this on Thursday? On, here’s the deal: there are zero good Thanksgiving songs, plus, I’m made the extra rule for myself that I’m only picking songs I own. So, Thanksgiving was out. My next thought was my boy, John Mayer, and his skbg “St. Patrick’s Day.” but no, he only mentions November. Ok, let’s think. Songs that mention turkeys. Cold turkey. Alright, that’s a start — I’ve got John Lennon and a song by Weezer I couldn’t remember the name of. “Cold Turkey” has Yoko Ono’s terrible vocals, if I dare to call them that. So, that leaves “One More Hit” by Weezer. You’re welcome for the mental gymnastics it took for today’s post.
