This is so incredibly true. It’s easy to miss the red flags the first time because sometimes they’re a lighter shade of red or they’re hiding behind something else.

It’s like what George W. Bush said, “There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”
