There is a reason you won’t read anything on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on my blog because I am not an expert, I have no ties to Ukraine or Russia, and I have nothing to add to the conversation. I am praying for the people and leaders of Ukraine, but that’s all you’ll hear from me.
I keep reading tweets and seeing videos of people literally saying “I don’t know what to say about Ukraine…” ok, then how about don’t? Don’t make it about you. The same thing happens when any disaster happens or when people announce the death of a celebrity. The celebrity deaths are super weird because random person I’ve known since middle school and have been Facebook friends with for 11 years will post “RIP DMX. He was my favorite rapper who got me through the roughest times in my life.” Shut up, Heather. You wouldn’t know DMX from DMC.
Just leave space for journalists and experts. That’s all.
