4.176/365: man, I miss Anthony Bourdain

I never do that “happy birthday” to dead people thing. Be it relatives or celebrities. It’s just damn weird. I will say I miss that person. And I miss Anthony Bourdain. He looked at food like nobody else before him and no one fills that space anymore. David Chang might one day. But Bourdain was one in a million. A chef who lived HARD and managed to make his way into shoeing people how food unites us like nothing else. We all come to the table. And that was what was great about him. A documentary about him is coming out about him next month and I’ll post about that once I’ve seen it.
