It’s some random Friday. I just watched The Cure get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That’s way cool. Here’s some random thoughts from this week.
There is a drug currently running on tv with a CGI turkey quitting smoking “slow-turkey” instead of cold-turkey. He’s camping, of course.
Fake bands look so fake in commercials, but some look super fake. Especially drug commercial ones. Let’s assemble all of the races and genders and stick them on stage with some instruments they obviously don’t play.
This week my doctor told me I’m super iron deficient and put me in iron twice a day. Pharmacist told me I have to take it 2-3 hours before a meal and 3 hours before or after I take one of my other drugs I take twice a day. I guess I’m staying up 24/7 to take these two drugs now.
Also, I am Iron Woman.
I just took the iron. I hope it falls between the narrow time span in which I can take it.
A pain in my side is what brought me to see my doctor this week. At times I thought it was appendicitis, but I knew it wasn’t. She said she’d get an ultrasound of my gallbladder. I told her I didn’t have one anymore and that I’ve had half of my organs removed because I wasn’t using them anymore. I’m glad she appreciates a sense of humor. She said it’s either a pulled or strained muscle or scar tissue that’s being a pain in my side, literally.
Let me know when all of y’all have watched Avengers: Endgame so we can discuss. I have issues.
I don’t watch the Games of the Thrones, but is there wagering on the outcome? I want to bet on Britney. Is there a Britney? How about Billy Ray? Is there a Billy Ray? Put my money on Billy Ray because you always go with a dude with two first names in a fight.
I don’t watch any of the movies or shows where people are dirty. It makes me uncomfortable. I need showered characters. I’m not talking about when a Star Wars character gets mud on their face and wipes it off. I’m talking about the Lord of the Rings and the like. Where they’re just walking. That series and The Hobbit should have been called “A Big Long Ass Walk.” I watched most of Vikings with the husband, but I mostly read books on my iPad while watching it. They were dirty and gross and so much bad hair.
