The hubs and I were married in 1997. We had a church wedding and reception, no booze, no dancing, no fun music. It was the way I wanted it because I was a teetotaler and there are alcoholics in the family (this was before the days of You Tube, when it wouldn't have been funny to have drunk relatives acting a fool).
What I did was have the pianist play a few of my favorite lovey-dovey songs before I walked down the aisle. "Here, There, and Everywhere" was one.
