If there is one thing I cannot stand it is racism. And if there are two things I cannot stand, it's corporate America being The Man and racism. And if there are three things I cannot stand, it's it's corporate America being The Man, racism, and using something as delicious as cupcakes to impart racism on the children of America.
Here is the commercial Duncan Hines does not want you to see, dubbed "Hip Hop Cupcakes."
Oh sure, they look harmless and delectable, but there are echoes of Al Jolson in blackface in cupcake form. And that wasn't hip hop. Sheesh.
Think I'm not serious? Then why did Duncan Hines pull the commercial after the media reported on the ad? We're onto you, Duncan Hines. And learn what hip hop is for crying out loud.
