happy Independence Day

Happy Independence Day.  That's all.  I just spent an hour writing a lovely post about the Founding Fathers, the Signers, and the Framers and recalling past July Fourths, including when I was in the hospital in Canadaland being induced with Katie — but oh, no — the interwebs went freakin' crazy and Typepad asked me to login again and my post reverted back to when it had last saved.  All that was saved was the title.  I may rewrite it later, but for now, enjoy your holiday.
