And here were are again, time to rewind for some Sunday 80's tunes without apology and without calling them guilty pleasures. We had some fun with Wham! last Sunday, so I figured we should keep the fun going with my favorite all-girl group, the Go-Go's. In case you didn't know, they were the first all-woman band who wrote and played their own music to go to #1 on the Billboard album chart, so I wouldn't call them a guilty pleasure. And as a side note, when I sing — in my head I sound like Belinda Carlisle. No one has ever told me this, it's purely in my head, I'm sure.
The Go-Go's are fanfreakingtastic, as far as pure feel-good pop goes, and they are a must for your 80's iPod playlist. I'll pretty much be going down my 80's playlist for our Sunday Rewinds, so prepare yourself.
So, here's "Head Over Heels," my favorite Go-Go's song, followed by "Our Lips Are Sealed," both of which took lots of looking on YouTube to find decent quality videos (because I take my 80's very seriously).
