update on my driver’s license sticker

It’s my lucky day.  Not only do I have a cold, I got my driver’s license sticker in the mail today.  You know, the one I posted about a few days ago.  I thought y’all might like to see my sticker, the one that cost over $30 after paying the $10 late fee.  Here’s what I got for $30:

I blacked out some of the numbers so none of you criminals steal my identity.  I know, everyone wants to be me.  It has instructions on how to peel off the sticker — how stupid do you have to be to need directions?  Note that this is an enlargement, the sticker is much smaller.  Yep, looks like 30 bucks worth to me.

Because I’m super nice, here’s what I’m sending the DMV as a thank-you gift:Guess how many packs of Hello Kitty stickers you can get for $30.  Go ahead, guess, I’ll wait.  That would be 30 packs.  That’s approximately (and I suck at math, so it’s just a guess) a million stickers.  I’m pretty sure I’m close.  Oh, and I sized this photo down, the stickers are a lot bigger.  I’m putting the Hello Kitty face one over my weight on the front of my license.  I’m taking my scrapbooking hobby to a new level and embellishing my license.  I don’t know if there’s a rule against that, but I feel like disregarding authority today.   I think the DMV won’t mind since I’m sending them a bunch of stickers.  Just to be on the cautionary side, I’m going to put a stash of stickers and temporary tattoos in my glove box in case I get stopped.  I hear the State Police love them some Hello Kitty and can’t resist a temporary tattoo.  And I’ll try not to call the cop “dude” like I did the last time.  That didn’t go over well, but that’s a story for a different day.
